The grounds of the Circle Motel are very nice and well-maintained. The bedding is comfortable, clean, and updated. The beds themselves are also comfortable. The owners have done some good things to update the rooms. Nice new furniture for the beds, desk, table, chairs, and console for the refrigerator and microwave. There is also a DVD player as well as a nice flat screen TV that works well. Some parts of the room are likely the same as they were when the motel was built, which is kind of neat, and what you'd expect for their EXTREMELY reasonable prices. The only things I would point out as negative is that that you can't walk to a restaurant, and there is really only one nighttime restaurant in the whole town (the breakfast and lunch restaurant--Cathy's Cafe is really good--excellent hash browns, great coffee, etc.)...and the door leading into the motel room is not an outside door, and there is no deadbolt, chain, or other extra piece of security to keep crazy people or Grizzlies from forcing their way inside. If I was in the area for wild hikes (which we were that night), I would stay here again. Hope you do too!

Room Tip: The paneling in the Kincaid room is painted white, which is a bit nicer. Plus it's the last room on the end.

We stayed here while visiting Gardner Cave for our anniversary. The motel is a great value, comfortable and clean. I especially liked the covered patio and the yard area to the side of the rooms. The motel location is away from town and we saw the night sky complete with the Milky Way!

A nice mom and pop motel at the top of a very big hill away from town. They have nice grounds with groupings of chairs in the shade. It's a great place to chill. Not so great if you need action.

The rooms themselves are large. Dated. Microwave, fridge, flat screen TV. Clean. Firm mattress. Plumb pillows. Fat towels.

The best part is double sheets. Can you believe that for the price? I'm impressed.

Good wifi.

Stopped here on our bicycles when doing the Selkirk Loop in May of 2016. Room was clean and large. Host offered to drive us down to the local restaurant for dinner as it was a long ride and a big hill coming home. He picked us up too! I love that level of service.

Room Tip: Let them know if you are coming by bicycle.

Nice clean motel just up the hill from Metaline Falls. Each room has mini fridge, microwave, and satellite tv, with a dvd player so bring the kids faves.Very good service. Inside the office area is an incredible selection of fishing tackle at excellent prices! This not your typical quick stop basic fishing items,, it is done by someone with great knowledge of the best lures and taxkle. Also on hand is a collection of hunting and camping needs ( bug repellant anyone?) of superior quality with hard to believe prices for almost anywhere. Hunters who lose their binoculars can find a quality replacement without travelling 2 hours to Spokane! They also have some cool tourist momentos and souvenirs. The motel has a nice shaded BBQ area with a high quality grill available for customers use.
