This was a great way to spend the afternoon - we had clear blue sky’s and the staff were really great. We headed quite far out straight away to where Orcas had been spotted earlier in the day and we ended up seeing the L-Pod Orcas which were apparently quite rare especially in October. There were about 6-7 orcas in the pod. The naturalist Sarah was really knowledgeable and friendly and very enthusiastic about the sighting. We also saw a bald eagle, schools of birds and seals, not to mention some amazing scenery. It was really windy when travelling at full speed but the blankets provided definitely helped with battling the cold and overall the boat was pretty comfy. I would definitely recommend checking it out.
