Casino seemed darker that many casinos we have been at, so had a strange feel. Didn't win, but was able to keep playing.

The 7 Cedars Casino is a welcome stop as you travel in the Olympic National Forest area. Located on the side of Highway 101 just outside Sequim, it features the requisite low lighting that reminds you you are in a casino while featuring several bars and restaurants that cater to your hunger and thirst as you feed the slots.

There is also lots of native art decorating the premises, such as totem poles and an elaborate canoe. A well-stocked gift shop adds to your enjoyment of the place as well. Don't forget to get a "players' club" card, as this will get you discounts on food and gas while you are there.

We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was okay. The staff was friendly and attentive. Had the seafood platter and enjoyed the variety of items. Wife was not impressed with her food. I had forgotten just how smoky casinos are and really enjoy the fact Wa. state banned smoking in bars and restaurants years ago. Not the case with reservation casinos.

As Native American Casino's go, this one isn't the biggest, but it is such a nice place with excellent service and very friendly staff. i am not much of a gambler, but we do go for the food and the entertainment. The landscapes around the area are beautiful and we are lucky to have this Casino near our town. S'klallam Tribe knows how to take care of things.

The best part about the seafood buffet was, of course, the Dungeness crab. The other offerings were fine but quite salty. The shrimp were a little overcooked as was the salmon, unfortunately. The veggies were great, perfectly steamed. Our friend said that the lobster tail was excellent.
