For Mother's Day we took a tour of the park. The park is very beautiful. We also did a couple geocaches in the park. Was not impressed with campground. Was early in the season and it was not mowed well but hoping as the years goes by hoping it will look better.

we enjoyed hiking around the park for a bit, kinda wish we had known the cave was not open that day but still great to look around we saw Eagles which is not a rare site for here but it was for us so we really enjoyed it.

Being from out of state, it's not cheap to stay here when you have to pay for the site, parking and all else. But... it was worth it for sure.

We stayed on the Wisconsin Ridge in one of the walk-up sites. It had an absolutely supreme view of the Wisconsin River. Mist sitting in the valley and sunrise to the right. Turkey Vultures soaring overhead and sunset to the left.

Plenty of hiking and wildlife along the way. We only spent one night, but could have filled the weekend fine.

There were some very beautiful overlooks on the Mississippi and Wisconsin Rivers that were an easy walk. There were also some steep stairs to other views. We took a strenuous hike along the bluffs, down through the forest, then along the Wisconsin River and back up to the bluffs. Fit Bit said we climbed 70 flights of stairs. We were glad we had good hiking boots and our walking sticks. The camping sites looked very nice.
