I visited the Fireside with two friends. We all ordered the soup and salad.
Two of us had the tomato bisque soup and one had the turkey noodle soup.
The soups were all delicious. The tomato bisque was thick with chunks of onion and tomato. The spices that were added gave it a tangy flavor without being too spicey. The turkey noodle had lots of turkey pieces and noodles. The bread served with the meal was a delicious coarse bread with oregano and sage seasoning. The salads were served promptly after the soup by our excellent waitress, Georgia. She refilled our water glasses, brought us extra bread and made sure we had everything we needed. The salads were a nice blend of mixed greens with corn, carrots, hard boiled eggs, onion and a large watermelon radish. All in all, an excellent meal. I ordered extra tomato bisque soup to go and the chef personally delivered it to our table. As we left the restaurant, Leslie the hostess wished us a good night. We all decided we needed to return another time really soon to try some of the other entrees on the menu. The shrimp, ribs, fish, chicken and waffles
as well as the frog legs all sounded delicious.
