4 of us came on a Saturday for the Fish Boil at 7:45pm. So, we arrived like they told us, at 7:15, got a great seat around the pot on the fire. Great view of everything going on. Plus, it was nice to sit, it was a pretty hot day on July 4th weekend.
We brought a person that had never been to a Fish Boil, so it was nice to see everything was the same as other years. He really enjoyed the whole thing.
When the boil takes place, make sure not to dilly dally, but get in line. There was plenty of fish to go around, but the line is long. We got a very nice table on the front porch and our servers were very attentive and friendly. They also debone your fish for you. The food was fantastic! The cherry pie was great as well. Just like old times!
I've tried other Fish Boils, like Viking and Pelletiers, but I keep coming back to this one. I love the setting and I even like watching the owner do her thing. All good memories!

The BEST FISH BOIL in Door County
Bar None !The mouth watering whitefish caught daily to the pearl onions & red skin potatoes were done to perfection by the boilmaster Nick named "Torch " ! The ambiance of watching the actual boil over outside, to the cruise ship service tableside is outstanding . Hats off to Tammy and her crew for making my vacation so memorable again here in Door Co. Make sure you bring your camera and/or smart phone to take pics of the grand finale of the boil over !

I had inquired about the fish boil event for July 4th for a time slot after 5:30 PM. The lady who picked the phone mentioned that there is only one fish boil on Thursdays and it is at 5PM. Hence we skipped one of the attraction and visited this place. But its only after our fish boil event, we got to know that there was another fish boil immediate;y at 6:30 PM. I was not sure why they had to lie initially. Anyways, after the fish, we had to stand in a long queue to get our fish pieces served. We were the last 6 people standing in the queue and the lady who seems to be the Manager was checking how many fish peces she had and said that this family is allowed to take 3 fish boils as per the initial order placed. This is even before we asked anything. We were just standing the queue assuming that everything including chicken will be served in the queue. But I had to explain that we are n the queue for just 3 fish boils and she said that the chicken will be served at the table. Meanwhle another guest came back to the queue with his plate and stood behind us (remember I said it was a long queue when we started). Before he reached the counter, the lady told the person who was serving the fish that the guest is coming for a 2nd round and he shouldn't get any additional fish. I was pretty shocked on how they judge the guests without even asking what the guest needs. She was relieved when the guest came to the counter to ask for just some additional potato.

Even on a rainy morning still a beautiful view with amazing and attentive service and a great breakfast. We had omelets that were perfect for a day full of sightseeing. Service was wonderful- refilling coffee and water at all times.
