I had an issue with cancellation on the website. I know I went through all the steps, but for some reason, it must not have gone through. The day after we were supposed to stay, I was sent an invoice as a no show, full price for 1 night. I called the hotel and told them what happened. The manager, Eric, said he would take care of it. I told him a room on an alternate night would be just fine. He took care of it, no problems.
Room was big and clean. Beds were comfortable. Crumby view out the window, just a lower roof. Free breakfast better than most. It would have been nice to have some fresh fruit available. The lime ice water in the lobby is a nice touch.
Didn't have a chance to use the pool, but it was close, right off the elevator. Unfortunately, someone had gotten out of the pool and got in the elevator soaking wet. The floor was wet and slippery. I told the front desk and they sent someone right away to wipe it up.
All in all, a nice place at a much better price than the hotels in town. The hotel is a mile out of town, a $10 cab ride.More
