John and Cindy are wonderful innkeepers. Our room was cozy and beautiful and breakfast was yummy. The wine and cheese reception was a lovely way to start off our short break to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

We are going to B&B of WI and Ilinois since we got married. We have been in 9 or 10 different places, and all of them had their own charm, but non of them caused a desire to return. When we entered Victorian Dreams in April 2015, my first thought was: "I want to come here again, in summer, and then in winter, to experience it again and again in different seasons". From the first steps inside the house you feel, that you belong here, that part of you will always remember this place. After the trip to Madison, we had a nice bath, then - vine, assortment of cheese, nuts, crackers - enjoying the lovely living room with other guests and owners. We got valuable advice where to dine that evening. And in the morning was another pleasant surprise of delicious healthy vegetarian breakfast for us and another couple. All our wishes and advises were accepted by the owners with great attention, showing, that they really care about how we feel in their home. We never go to the same place twice, but Victorian Dreams will be exception of our rules. Wonderful retreat for couples and single people, not far from Madison, old charm and modern touch, multiple possibilities of spending time (massage is available!) - what else can one desire on their week end or little anniversary. Galina & Ivan, Glendale WI

Room Tip: Look at the pictures and decide what mostly suites your taste - they have two houses to choose from, so go ahead - check their website. (and you do not need Internet when you are in B & B.

We seem to be making Victorian Dreams a Valentine's Day tradition. We always enjoy our stay and this year was no exception. We tried a different room this year -- Abigail's Oasis -- and our experience was even more wonderful. Even as the business thrives, John and Cindy remain wonderfully personal hosts. And the breakfasts continue to be a great part of the experience.

Just back from an awesome weekend at Victorian Dreams! The food, the bed, the suite, the message, fire place and whirlpool all 5 stars. You won't find better breakfast food. The wine & cheese every afternoon is a nice touch. John & Cindy run a classy very clean place. Close to Madison, Lake Wisconsin & a State park. We did'nt want to leave.

Our two-night get-away to the Victorian Dreams B & B was delightful - from the initial greeting we received from Cindy to our departure after the second day's breakfast. The high rating on Trip Advisor is totally warranted as John and Cindy do their utmost to make you feel at home and provide for all your needs. Any of the rooms/suites would be a joy to stay in (we got the tour as they were not full when we stayed). Abigail's Oasis is great if you are not a morning person and don't want the bright sun flooding in. It was wonderful not being awakened at sunrise! The bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a separate private entrance to our room. The breakfasts were yummy and we enjoyed talking with Cindy and John during the wine and cheese hour. A totally satisfactory stay and we'd loved to return.
