“Great wings & beer if willing to wait”

The hot wings at Point East Pub are worth a visit, but beware: wait time for food was an hour and a half or more. However, pitchers of your favorite beers help pass the wait time. We came on a Saturday about 1:30pm - maybe service will be quicker at a non-peak time.
Our table only tried the hot wings, fries, garlic fries, and a few pitchers of Spotted Cow - but highly recommend all of them!

Best Wings hands down. A dozen wings, an order of pickle fries and a Lakefront Riverwest Stein will be sure to hit the spot!

Best wings in town! The service can get real slow depending on the day and time but the wings are totally awesome!

Crispy wings, perfectly spiced, with a dry char rather than goopy wet sauce. Can't beat it. Bartenders are fun and nice and the price is right. GREAT value. I've never eaten anything other than the wings and fries here because they are the best in the world, therefore, all I order.

Small place located just North of downtown Milwaukee, kind of a neighborhood and king of not. All orders are taken at the bar, so don't wait at the table to get your order in. The wings are cooked up on a small grill in the back of the restaurant located at the far end of the bar. When it's busy, the wings can take up to an hour. The wings are closer to a dry rubbed and grilled wing than your average bar wing and are worth coming in for.

While you wait, the smoke from the grill fills the bar with smells of what's' about to come.

The beer menu is written on the boards behind the bar or you can scan the QR code stickers which are virtually everywhere. The scanned QR code with your phone and it will take you to a list of beers along with descriptions of each. Their are a few other things on the menu, mostly typical bar/pub sandwiches and apps, if you're starving and can't wait.

With 20 or so tables and a bar against one wall, seating is tight when crowded but that's part of the pub appeal. Come in expecting nothing and enjoy some really good grilled wings. They're expanding with a bigger kitchen and a new bar in the back plus seating was not ready on my last visit. This space is scheduled to be open before the end of the year, but once it's done seating and eating should get a whole lot quicker.
