Based on referral we gave the place a try. Heard entrees were Italian, authentic and delicious. Not a pro on authentic, but all 4 of us left disappointed not tasting anything delicious. Pork I had was over cooked, extremely tough and marinara sauce was sparce on the pasta. Overall the service was good, prices fair and the place settings with vintage style glasses added charm. A cute little place-- Maybe it was an off night, but we're hesitant to try again.

Food was average, drinks were average, owner can be over bearing, friendly, but a bit much. Mostly Italian food. You must pay extra for garlic toast, hard to understand. Prices of food and drinks are the average, Good place to stop if you are on a road trip.

We had been receiving recommendations from friends to give this place a try and we finally did. It used to be a bar. Now it's more restaurant than bar. It's a cute little restaurant serving a variety of food (but seemingly mostly Italian). The staff is super friendly and the owner/chef even comes out to your table to see how everything was. We had a good meal. I wouldn't say it was the best meal that I've ever had but it certainly wasn't bad. But the food, combined with the service will definitely bring me back. Most people drive right by this place on their way to the Buck-a-Neer... I recommend you stop and give it a try.

Happened onto this place looking for a bar burger for lunch. We were blown away by the offerings the woman owner offers. The special that day was a chunk of lasagne which was enough for two of us. She also treated us to a fine lemon cake and plenty of interesting conversation. This place should not be missed if you're near. We will return and we live 2 hours away. This place is a good excuse for a road trip.

C & M Crossroads has a Stratford mailing address while the actual location is in Rozellville, Wisconsin. Anonymous and I stopped in one day for a bite to eat. We received a hearty greeting by Mauvice Murphy upon entering the bar. Mauvice was charming and cheerful as she shared her passion for culinary creations of both American and ethnic foods, specializing in German, Greek, and Italian cuisines. The original bar and tin ceiling plates lent nostalgia while melding with festive décor of Italian Trattoria, and quaint tables with chairs dotting the main floor.
Anonymous, adventurous with her tastes, had the following to say about her fare. “Homemade Tomato Basil soup was fantastic, tasting thick, garlic toast croutons and Parmesan/asiago cheese; The Penne pasta tossed with shrimp and cod – light tomato sauce. Just a hint of spice and garlic; green pepper, olive oil and onions - yum! Soft French bread to soak up the sauce – couldn’t leave that behind.” The meal was complimented by Summer Sangria made in house; very light and refreshing. Dessert consisted of warm banana Foster cake flamed by rum.
Known for having a voracious appetite, I ordered a double meal. The pan fried walleye was huge, golden brown with white inner flesh; Tasting freshly caught but not fishy in taste. The medium baked potato, moist with a semi sweetness through and through. The hamburger with fries were wonderful, the crinkle cuts were good; Not hard and crunchy. The patty was between a fine and coarse grind with an excellent aroma while the golden brown hard roll bun was full of body.
Portions were plentiful, prices pleasant, service outstanding, and definitely worth returning for in the future.
