I stayed here for one night before heading out to go backpacking in the Wind River Range. For one night, I thought it was fine. The pillows are super over-stuffed so if you like slim pillows, bring your own. And our bathroom fan was really loud so anyone who got up in the middle of the night to go the bathroom woke everyone else up. But it was clean and gave us what we needed. We had a suite, and it worked out well (which included a kitchenette, which we did not use). Breakfast is also included, which is always a bonus!

Very clean, comfy beds and quaint. I know the temp dips down in the evening, however some of us need air conditioning in order to sleep.

Rock walls were extremely nice. Little barrier from the parking lot.

Overall was a perfect location and very clean stay.

We booked this hotel based on the fact that it was as close to Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Park. The location was perfect.
We loved the fact that they advertised a Moose walking in front of the rooms. This was just the kind of charm we were looking for,
The Rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable. The Bathroom was great, and the decor was charming,.
The town is exactly what one would expect from a small town in Wyoming.
The Motel offers a simple continental breakfast, in the main lodge. The main lodge is decorated with the Taxidermy trophy heads of many animals, and antlers of others.
The price of this motel is perfectly suited for the motel, and is a perfectly reasonable rate.
The only concern I had was that the motel front desk closes early - and in our case, the key card did not work, and after we returned from dinner, the manager was hard to get a hold of. Not impossible, just a minor inconvenience. He was very pleasant when he opened our door.

Room Tip: Quaint Rustic & Charming

My husband and I have stayed here two years in a row after backpacking in the Winds. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, comfortable and classy for the price. The continental breakfast is pretty basic but for the comfortable rooms, we didn't really care.

Wasn't sure what we were going to get with a last minute booking due to the eclipse visitors but we got lucky with Sundance. The new owners have done an amazing job with renovations and upgraded office/lobby. I got a very positive vibe and really appreciated the personal touches they have done with an older motel. Would highly recommend this motel and the town of Pinedale for a real WY experience.
