The sushi is hard to beat, especially at that price. I know good quality and this was certainly it - we could have ordered couple more rolls but we wanted to eat there and it just didn't have a good feel. There was sadly a homeless lady hovering behind us and the tables were sticky with grime, floors were disgusting and it kind of ruined our experience (although I admit, it did not stop us from eating lol) If they can clean it up a bit, I can see this place being a must-stop. Next time, I think we'll do a carry-out and eat it outside (but it was raining on the day we went).

Don't let the location stop you, this is truly a great quality sushi for an affordable price!

Do not judge this place by the surroundings. It is in an old store that housed a food court. I can tell you that the sushi this guy makes is as good as any I have had. And it is at a reasonable price. Try it for lunch I don't think it is open very late in the day. In the food court there are several other kinds of Asian choices plus burgers so go and make everyone happy.

We stopped in when we learned that the restaurant recommended was closed for a few days. As we were quite hungry, and traveling with a young child, we had desired a sit down restaurant but decided to try the food and eat in the park across the street. After reviewing the menu a few times, I determined that the options are rather limited, so simply picked a few items. Our order was quite tasty, however, I missed having a large quantity of pickled ginger, and easily accessible soya sauce and wasabi (the soya sauce comes in a small packet). In fact, I was somewhat surprised to learn that there is a charge for the ginger and the quantity very small. If you are hungry and on the go, you might wish to check this place out.

The restaurant is in a small food court on Kamehameha Drive facing the water. The pole and tiki maki rolls were absolutely delicious. The price will not shock you, as the prices are less than the mainland. In the same court is an ice cream parlor, Thai, and local Hawaiian cuisine.

If you are looking for a typical five star atmosphere restaurant experience, this is not for you. However, if you are interested in fresh, tasty sushi, made with brown rice, at a super low price, Dragon Kitchen Sushi is the place. Order at the counter, cash only. We had regular rolls and hand rolls. Fish is fresh fresh fresh. Short wait for great food. Would come here again!!!
