We had an amazing time on the Seiko with
MaKana charters. Captain A’A and Tony were great and exhibited professionalism throughout the tour. They had an immense about of knowledge and history of the island and were hilarious! We visited a few sea caves with waterfalls, saw the amazing Napoli coastline, swam with turtles, learned about some US military bases and history of multiple native farming/fishing tribes on the coastline and were visited by almost a hundred Spinner dolphins.

We are definitely recommending this tour to our friends and family!!

Loved it. MAHALO!

beyond beautiful scenery, we had captain cam and co cap tony, both funny and outgoing people, kept us laughing, heavily educated and respectful towards hawaiian culture, learned some new things i havent heard of even growing up in hawaii. Mountain ranges twice the size as empire state building, kalo patches on top of waterfalls that drop 80+ yards, caves, dolphins turtles, the whole 200 yards. Personally never drop over a hundred for a tour in Hawaii but would do this again in a heart beat!! 12/10 recommend . Mahalo Cam, Tony & Libby !!

It's not for "photography"
Misleading advertising. The office and "captain" have different ideas about the tour. The best part was getting off the boat. I'm sure it's pretty for the random vanilla tourist but what I was told and what I received were vastly different. And about BOB as your captain. Complete tool!

This was our second Makana Boat Tour and it was the best yet! Incredible trip and crew. Our Captain and Crew (Tim) were friendly and so knowledgeable about the island. They pointed out various trails, beaches and things to do while traveling up to the Napali Coast. They took time to visit with all of us on the boat and provided us with a delicious lunch. Since it was May, we were able to explore some caves off the coast, saw spinner and bottlenose dolphins and were able to snorkel. The tour provides the snorkeling gear which is great. If you visit Kauai, you have to take a Makana tour, you will not be disappointed. We'll be back again! Mahalo!

Fun trip and glad we did it. My wife really liked the ride to the coast. She laughed with every bump and drop over the waves. Says her number one item on her bucket list is now to ride a speed boat over waves. She said it was better than any roller coaster.

Sean (Shawn?) was pleasant and enjoyable. We did think he spent too much time chatting after sharing relevant stories at the stops we made along the way. We would have preferred to have that time either snorkeling or at Na Pali.

We really enjoyed Neehi....she was GREAT!

Only tip is to go in the morning. Sean/Shawn said they cancel a lot of afternoon trips due to wind/waves. They are the only company to do that. We appreciated that honesty.

We would definitely recommend this trip. And, be sure to check out the baby lamb when checking in!
