We stayed nearby so took the short walk through this park of lava trees. When you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all

Don’t go far out of your way for this one!

There's a round-trip trail that isn't very long. It could be walked with a stroller or just about by anybody. It does get hot though. The area is very unique and interesting how it occurred. There is also a huge cave in the middle of the ground. That's pretty small, it should take you only about a half an hour at the most I would think.

Small park with educational exhibits of volcanic trees and a relaxing trail. There’s a fissure near the entrance that is really deep and very cool.

An easy to travel paved loop will take your through this park where one can see what happens when lava flows over trees. The park was very quiet when we stopped by and the loop can be done in 20 minutes (or longer if you want).

Quick stop along scenic route...didn’t stay long. Great for a bathroom break and stretch your legs but wouldn’t go out if your way. Interesting.
