I stayed at the Volcano Forest Inn for 21 days in April 2021. The service that I received from the staff was amazing. Jonathan gets a 100% on his professionalism and customer service skills during my stay. The property was clean and very well manicured the entire time. The continental breakfast was tasty each morning. There were even times when dinner was provided and it was not part of the amenities. My room was very well furnished and kept during my stay. The attractions were close by and within walking distance. The property is located in a rain forest, therefore, the scenery was breathtaking. I had a private balcony that overlooked the rainforest....simply gorgeous. I was able to complete 3 short story books during my stay and commune with God.
I would not recommend this location for anyone with children as it is not child friendly. I had a somewhat shocking encounter with a 4 year old white guest that asked me if I was going to steal things in his room. Not any fault of the staff, however, I believe children only repeat what they hear in their homes. The 8 or 9 year old child that was with the same guests broke the microwave during their stay, which resulted in the staff having to purchase another microwave and placing signs on the appliances that children were not allowed to operate appliances. The parents left the 3 minor children...I stayed at the Volcano Forest Inn for 21 days in April 2021. The service that I received from the staff was amazing. The parents left the 3 minor children on the property by themselves, which resulted to the 4 year old running through the hallways unsupervised. Unfortunately, it was nice to see them leave.
I would recommend this property to anyone that is looking for an intimate setting with minor traffic and peace and quiet, It is located within walking distance to the local park and Volcano tourist spots.
The price is affordable and worth every penny.
I will stay at the Volcano Forest Inn each time I travel to The Big Island as I felt welcome and the service exceeded my expectations. See you soon!More
