We stayed here for our anniversary trip and loved it! The staff was so friendly. They had a bottle of champagne in our room congratulating us on our anniversary. The pool was beautiful. The beach was great. There were volley ball nets which kinda blocked the view but was actually quite entertaining to watch. It's a public beach so anyone can use the beach but the chairs are reserved for guests only. The resturants are good but very pricey for what you get. Coffee maker in the room. Mini fridge in the room. Parking can be an issue. There are always spots but it means you have to walk a far distance. Beds are comfy. My husband requested the foam pillows and they were waiting for him in the room when we arrived. That never happens!!! The location is great because you are so close to the airport and half way between the north and the South part of the island. Great resort! Would definitely go again.

Feeding the Koi fish made me giggle like a kid. Pool side bar and restaurant was yummy! The $13 drinks are WORTH it! So tasty. If you're on a cruse ship on a Sunday - when most things on Kaua'i are closed ... I recommend getting a day pass ($60) and hanging out here. Great spot to enjoy the beach or the pool. You can take a free shuttle from the port to the nearby shopping area and walk (about 10 mins) to the resort.

I stayed at 3 different places during my Kauai trip and this was the most disappointing! I paid $342/night for a TINY room with a murphy bed and "ocean view." There was a huge column blocking our balcony and we could barely see the ocean - it felt claustrophobic. I went down to the front desk to ask to switch to any other room, and apparently there were no other rooms available. I found it really hard to believe because it wasn't even peak season and the hotel felt pretty empty for such a large property. I have gold status with Marriott and received zero perks for it. There is also no Marriott lounge here.

In addition to the horrible "ocean view," the murphy bed quality is the same as a pull-out couch. I found it strange to charge so much for these rooms and not even give a real bed? Lastly, there were FRUIT FLIES all over the bathroom area. Really disgusting!!! There wasn't even anything we could do about it, since there were no other rooms available to switch to. With fruit flies flying around, I might as well have stayed at a motel lol.

Pros: cool pool area, hotel is on the beach, adorable chicken families in the parking lot

I would definitely the Westin Princeville Villas in north shore, even at a higher price.

Good property next to airport, golf course, and a luxury ocean front community of residences that you drive through on your way from the airport

Complimentary pickup but you have to call them when you land and they’ll be there in 10 minutes

Three tower blocks of rooms, with not all facing the ocean. If views are important, ensure to get ocean front rooms. And get a floor that’s higher up (max is 11)

Lovely large swimming pool. A good expanse of normal sandy beach backed by grassy lawn like stretch between the property footpath and the sandy beach, with a backdrop of mountains. It’s a bay.

The room is large, with two kings, lots of table space for video, phones, charging, etc. lots of space and a good lanai with a great view

Very amiable staff at check in, although checkin time is 4:00 so don’t rush if you’re inter island hopping (but that’s true of almost all hotels) so grab a late lunch and the room should be ready

From the moment we arrived it was a dream vacation! Everyone was so nice and very helpful. The check-in was fast and without problems. Our room was just perfect. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath room. The beds were, by far, the most comfy we have ever slept in at a resort!!! We had everything we needed in our room. The pool was awesome. Very large and very clean. Plenty of hot tubs if you needed a soak. Poolside service, food and drinks. The resort, itsself, was the most beautiful resorts we have ever stayed at.... and we've stayed at lots of places, including Sandals. This resort put Sandals to shame. The location on the Island was perfect. 5 minutes from the airport and less than an hour from either direction on the Island for any attractions. We rented a car and went exporing every day. The Island is amazing!!! Free airport shuttle. The restaurants are a little pricey, but we mostly ate at the local places near the resort. Our favorite thing about this resort would be so hard to choose... the beauty of the gardens, the room comfort, EVERYTHING!!! We were impressed from the time we arrived until the time we left.

Room Tip: All rooms are ocean view.
