I recently stayed for 4 nights at the Sheraton Kauai Resort. Its not as fancy as the Hyatt down the road, but it is still a great place to spend some time in Kauai. The facilities are nice and the beach in front of the hotel is stunning.

The staff was warm & accommodating, helpful, and always helpful. I liked the way this hotel managed their pool towels (sign out for as many as you need and easy exchange times....VERY different than the Sheraton Maui).

In addition to the beautiful beach and pool, I enjoyed sitting by the fire pits and felt it made a great cozy space to hang with friends. I also appreciated that there was a small coffee shop/store on site for food, snacks, and drinks. The prices weren't outrageous and made a convenient place to grab something without having to get in the car or pay for a big meal.

I'll definitely stay here on my next visit to Kauai.

Room Tip: Room 3303 and the nearby rooms have a partial ocean view.

This is our family's second visit to beautiful Hawaii, but our first time in lush Kauai. The Sheraton was the perfect home away from home. The staff was friendly, accomodating, and knowledgeable. On our first night, we had a difficult next door neighbor, so we expressed our concerns to the front desk pronto. Luma, from the front desk, wasted no time in trying to remedy the situation. She upgraded us to a beautiful ocean view room complete with all the specifications we requested, apologized for the inconvenience, and followed up with us to make sure we were happy with our stay. The service staff at the lava grille was also attentive and helpful.

We would recommend the Sheraton to anyone who would visit Kauai. It is in a great central location, with greatly appointed rooms, and definitely an Aloha spirit from its kind and hospitable staff.

Hotel and location are awesome !! The beach here is probably the best beach for any resort in the Koloa area. Waves are perfect for kids to have fun, knock them around a bit, but not keep them out of the ocean. Service was wonderful, never more then a few moments to get anything that was needed wether something for room or wait service at pool. Food of course overpriced but was good. Pool a bit on smaller side but never overcrowded. Excellent shopping and eating either in walking distance or less than a 5 minute drive. Views were beautiful !

Room Tip: Ocean front is definitely the way to go

My daughter and I just finished our 7 night stay here. This is my third visit to Kauai, but my first stay at this hotel. The resort is big enough, but not too big. We were looking for a beautiful setting and a hotel with wonderful service, luckily we received both. The location is fantastic with easy access to Poipu/Koloa. You can easily walk to many restaurants and shops. The beach is beautiful and the pool area is great, no fighting to get a great chaise like at some bigger resorts.

This is the kind of place that you visit to get away from the hustle and bustle of the busy rat race. The amenities are unlimited: great beach access, luxurious lawns, scuba, surfing, hula, and ukalaili lessons, snorkeling rentals, great heated pool, yummy restaurants, super friendly service, big comfy beds = a exceptionally wonderful getaway.

Room Tip: Stay in a room that offers direct access to the beach. The bottom floor was perfect for this reason.
