My daughter visited for a week from the mainland and was heading back later in the evening that we had our family of 20 dinner. She ordered her favorite cake noodles, lemon chicken, and shrimp. The food was delicious and the service was very high quality. As we were ordering I noticed there was another person who was able to "run" our order to the kitchen to "fire" it up! Such quick service!

Of the three main Chinese restaurants in Kaneohe, Kin Wah has always been our favorite. If you can fight through the lack of parking you will be rewarded with good, fresh, family style Chinese dining. The wait staff here are attentive and friendly and many of them have worked here for so long they know you and what you like. Not only is the food tasty, but it comes out to your table super quick. Our go-to dishes include: honey walnut shrimp, Mongolian beef (which comes on a sizzling plate) and crispy gau gee cake noodle. This place is great to bring your family to!

Kin Wah has been the 'go to' chinese restaurant on the windward side of Oahu for years. Their dishes have been consistently tasty and delicious and the atmosphere comfortable, casual, friendly, and clean. My family and I go there a couple of times a month and enjoy our favorites like honey walnut shrimp, ginger chicken, mongolian beef, wor gau gee mein, etc., etc. Stop in and enjoy!

We found Kin Wah through a google search on our way back from the north shore. We were starving and in the mood for Chinese and wow did we hit the jackpot! Our service was speedy and delightful, including a wonderful conversation with the owners after the meal. The food was incredible. The ginger gau gee (a local dumpling) is a must have, and the pineapple duck and seared scallops were perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. The mound of chicken fried rice was the most authentic tasting that we had ever had! The complimentary oolong tea was delicious as well.
We were in and out in about 30 minutes, with a very reasonable bill, and an arm full of leftovers that would last us two more meals.
We spent a week on Oahu eating at all kinds of places and this beat out them all!

This is the type of Chinese food I grew up with before Hunan, Sichuan, and Mandarin entered the gastronomic universe. You can order a multi course dinner for six that will feed eight or more.

Super popular with Laie regulars and BYU students. You've got your stir fried beef and veggies, fried shrimp, etc. Friendly hosts and Island laid back.
