Great place to walk and soak in the ambience. Lots of shops to window-shop . Restaurants and bars. You can't go wrong staying around here.

There is a chocolate shop there that has gelato to die for. It's just a small shop with the word "chocolate" above it. Candy bars were your average candy bars but really try the gelato. I got cookies and cream, get the larger size because you will want more.

This street is wonderful to walk through. We walked from Pier 39 to the Ferry Building and it was a really lovey walk. Lots to see along the way.

We stayed near the Embarcadero during record breaking heat. It was good to stroll along the Embarcadero as it was close to the water, with breezes, plenty to see and do.
