Visiting the Ghirardelli Square was a dream come true for every chocolate lover. We could see how the chocolate was made back then, and they have a cafe which served from chocolates, cakes, brownies and even drinks all chocolate based.
It’s a nice place to walk around as well.
The price of the items in the cafe is not so expensive. It’s definitely a recommended place to go when in San Francisco.

Great sales area and display of chocolate items you will not find in regular stores. We got a double brownie sundae to split between 4 of us. Wanted to buy some off the wall chocolate bars, but had afternoon activities that would prevent me from getting them in a fridge before they melted in the heat.
Most of the square is misc. shops etc, so Ghiradelli is the anchor store of the square.
Not a must see but fun if you are the area.

You may find this amazing chocolate almost anywhere, but if in the Bay Area, you have to stop at the Iconic Ghirardelli Square!! Those huge letters, copied in most of its stores nationwide and at its Disney Springs' Orlando store, not only are their logo, but an invitation to indulge in their wide variety of chocolates! Enjoy it!!

Very well done tourist attraction with some thing for every one, food bars chocolate and even live music.
I love my chocolate and the samples given were great and as I was purchasing, I was given samples of types I was unsure of.
Great place to visit and it is free to access.
