Stayed for 3 nights and found the room to be very clean, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed including a safe. It was great to be able to park the car in the lot underneath the hotel.
Only negative is that the room faced onto Lombard Street which is very busy and there’s a lot of traffic noise. I’m a light sleeper and used earplugs which just about kept out the noise.

Free parking and close enough to walk or Lyft to lots of attractions. Clean rooms and elevator access. Lyft rides are less expensive than parking at any of the popular sites. Not the Hyatt, but well worth the price.

We were on the top floor of Coventry Inn staying late May 2018 when we discovered a bedbug. The mattresses are double covered in mattress protectors, so you would not be able to tell unless you spent an hour taking out the mattress. They deducted $50 from our stay and put our clothes through their commercial dryer. When I asked how they would get rid of the bed bugs, they said they do a deep clean of all rooms every couple months. Only serious heat and fumigation will get rid of bed bugs. You've been warned!!!

This is our second time here, we love the comfortable king size bed and close proximity to cafes, bike paths, city and bridge.

Only annoying part is there’s no fridge in the room to store baby bottles or food.

But we’ll be back next time!

We stayed two nights in a 2 queen room with sofa. We chose this property in large part due to the free parking for our rental car. We arrived before check-in for our first night (around noon). Mo graciously allowed us to park early so we could attend a Giants game. He also extended our parking time period for after our check-out because our flight departed late that night. Both of these gestures were greatly appreciated. We liked how our room was laid out, nice bathrooms, and extra seating. We were able to use the Muni very easily from a block or less walk from the property. However, we had a broken commitment about our room request. Mo had arranged, per our request at booking time, to have a room away from Lombard St due to noisiness. Upon arrival, pre-check-in time, there was a room scheduled to be available that fit that criteria but still being cleaned. We were promised we would get that room and not room 315 which was on the corner facing Lombard St. When we returned around 7, we were given room 315 by Vince since it was the only room left. Room 315 was incredibly noisy from the street traffic, and not even earplugs could completely block it out. This room needs to have a white noise or other background sleep noise machine. You can request a room away from Lombard St, but be sure to arrive promptly at check-in time for the best chance to get it.
