This is a gem of a hotel. It is very clean and the staff is wonderful. It is also a short walk to the pier and all of the favorite attractions of San Fran. The rooms are quite at night and the parking is very secure.

I gave this motel five stars not because of the luxurious rooms or super service but due to the location and value for money. The motel is clean and rooms are comfy considering you will be out and about a lot. Free parking is a great bonus. Fisherman S wharf, cable car access and Ghiradelli square are in very easy walking distance.

The room was clean for the most part. Beds were described as queen - which means double. The room is modestly decorated, with attention needed to updating. The bathroom sink area could have used a little more than the edge of the sink for counter space (and a safer hairdryer) . The bathroom itself was kept clean - with the exception of the black mold in the shower window. Stairs were less scary than the elevator. Staff were courteous - and helpful.
The location is the best feature - close to everything. You are in Little Italy here, Walgreens down the street shopping close by, transit and all the 'sights'.
A few updates, attention to details and we have an amazing find !!

Room tip: Try to get a room without black mold in the shower.

we stayed here from a sunday to thursday and didnt have any problems at all. hotel is in a wonderful location with easy access to fishermans wharf, pier 39 and all areas on northern end. hotel does not offer breakfast but many places within walking distance. the hotel is not a fancy up to date style but clean with big room and comfy bed. they also offer free parking which we did not use as we didnt have a car while there.
