Nice hotel with a few opportunities for improvement. Great location! Very good service. Attractive albeit modest-sized lobby. But here are my gripes:

1. They offer an online opportunity to check in prior to arrival and said our key would be waiting for us in a rack at the check-in desk. Unfortunately, it wasn't there and we were told our room was not ready. Fortunately, the check-in clerk took the initiative to find us another room that was available.

2. We chose a junior suite which was a bright and cheery corner layout. However, it's clearly a hotel that was built when bigger bathrooms were not in style. Only one sink, no separate shower, and a bit cramped.

3. $7.50 a bottle for water!

4. You can put a card on your door knob at night to order breakfast at a specified time in the morning. Unfortunately it came about 20 minutes after the specified window. I called down to report this and never got an apology. It was on my bill at checkout but it was removed when I complained.

5. Sound on the TV was out of sync with the video.

6. Bed was quite "jiggly". Every time my wife or I moved, the whole bed shook. Not sure if this was the mattress or the frame.

7. I filled out the email survey I got from Omni after our stay but never got a response to these concerns. Strange.

At the rate we were paying, problems like this shouldn't happen.

We had such a great stay at the hotel. The staff was amazing from the time we arrived till the time we left to go home. This is definitely one of the best family friendly hotel we have stayed at. When we arrived, they gave our son, who is 3, a goodie bag which made him feel awesome. After a long day of checking out the city, we would come back to the room and find cookies and milk for our little guy. He gets so excited in the evening when we head back to the hotel because he knows the staff would have his treat ready for him when he arrives. He loves the hotel so much, that he would prefer to stay there instead of checking out the sites. Thank you for making our stay so amazing and warm.

We recently spend two nights at the Omni in San Francisco to celebrate our birthdays. The service from the moment of pulling up in front of the hotel through check-out was exceptional. Gennaldii Mayshev checked us in early with ease and a welcoming attitude. The room was spacious, well appointed and very quiet. The bed, linens, robes, etc were wonderful in quality and condition. We enjoyed our room and looked forward to returning to it after exploring the city.
Debora, from the loyalty department of the hotel, sent wine and dessert in honor of my husband and I celebrating our birthdays. This was a wonderful surprise and it was accompanied by a very nice hand written note.
The level of service through-out the hotel was amazing and I very much look forward to visiting again in the future.

Was upgraded to Premium King room that was super clean, modern and spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They allowed us 3 hours of late checkout for free, and all while we got a killer deal for the room via "name your price" on Priceline. Would love to go there again

Omni is great very clean and room sizes are okay. Location is very good. Chinatown , north beach , financial district, embarcadero and bart are all easy walks. Staff is very welcoming. Omni rewards perks are nice too. Rooms was absolutely spotless and very comfortable, but most rooms don't seem to have good city views, but who stays sits in the room and gazes out the window? A hot tub would be a nice amenity. Only bad thing is the business center computers are expensive if you need to print something, and the room is small.
