I am so happy that Marriott and the Autograph collection came together!

The Hotel Adagio is THE Hotel , in the RIGHT spot, with the RIGHT people.

If you remember the phrase, "CUSTOMER SERVICE", will the Hotel Adagio does. The front desk, from the moment you pull up in the car treat you like you are the only one staying at the hotel.

The front desk does not just meat the standards of GREAT, but they go above this. They remember me when I check in, they also have my feather free room ready! This hotel always does! Other hotels say they will send someone up to change out the feathers. The Hotel Adagio has it ready when I get there.

I love this place. You have to try the BAR! THe bartenders are out of this world. The Garlic Parmesan french fries are addictive, be careful. Across the street the SWIG is great.

What else can I say, the rooms are much larger than most hotels.

The hotel is cute and boutiquey like the are going for, but the charm soon wears off once you walk into the room and take off your shoes. The carpet felt sticky like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. Wet a wash cloth and pat it on the carpet, sure enough the filth was disgusting. The iron was broken, and the elevators were as slow as Christmas. The staff was friendly. but not enough to make up for the filthy carpet. My advice stay somewhere else.

The hotel overall was nice. The staff were nice and helpful, good breakfast included with the room. Our room was big and we were completely satisfied. Pretty good location and there are several inexpensive places to eat within a minute or two walk. Easy to walk to union square its a Marriott property and lived up to all of the Marriott expectations. San Fran needs to do something about the homeless population they are getting really scary.

We stayed here 9th August 2017 for 4 nights during the latter part of our honeymoon.

Hotel looked ok from the outside and in the lobby. But the room itself looked dated inside.

There was a strange red stain on the carpet near the air conditioning unit that really should have been cleaned or covered up.

The small closet was positioned such that its door, the room door and the bathroom door all banged against one another if more than one were opened at the same time. I say 'closet', but it feels as though it was an afterthought and just shoehorned into a corner where it didn't really fit. The depth of the closet changed about halfway across so hangers didn't actually fit on the rail unless they were at an angle, pushing ironed clothing up against the wall. It wasn't really what we expected.

Breakfast was ok, but one morning (the 11th) we were told by a waiter there were no tables ready and then a second waiter sat us immediately. Another morning my wife had to ask for water five times before it was brought over and I noticed the milk had likely been sitting out for some time, as after pouring, there was a ring of 'milk' left around the jug like a tide mark, as if it were clotted cream or similar (and it was definitely milk).

One last point that is more a complaint about our agent who booked us the hotel than the hotel itself, but I was surprised to see there was no free wi-fi. Not a problem, just unexpected in this day and age.

Great hotel, staff is amazing and the rooms are perfect. The neighborhood is a bit shady but if you look past all that it's a great hotel. Union Square is 2 blocks and the Market is 3 blocks.

Definitely stay here again
