Love the new daily menu concept which in our case yielded a special lightly seasoned "lettuces" salad, amazing lamb medley (steak, chop, sausage) with assorted braised greens, and sharing several quality desserts. Attentive service without being overbearing.

Well... this restaurant is in business fir over 20 years. It was opened when surrounding was run down stores and bunch of homeless. 20 years passed and they are still in business . Ok ... I have been to this place number of things over the years. This time around I have decided to give them a chance and booked a table in advance fir B day dinner . However, when we arrived we were greeted by the hostess who mentioned that our table is not quite ready ( dining room was 50% occupied by the way) finally when she decided that table is ready hit us she send us upstairs on th balcony to sit at the empty separate dining room . Please, note no one ever asked her to hide us from the public. It was disappointing especially knowing that main dining room is 50% empty. I declined the table on the second floor and finally we were dotted at the table for two in the main dining room . But our mood was ruined. Concerning the food : it’s a very extensive wine selection and not so much choices for the food . We got a bottle of Italian red wine from Piemonte , 1/2 doesn’t of oysters which were fresh , Caesar’s salad ( which was on the small side) , Tuna Poke appetiser for $16 which was so small that remind me more of tasting then a appetiser and my cat eats more. Plate of Pasta for $26 kind of small as well and the main dish meant to be split for two was Kobe beef flat iron stake -tagliate ($34)which contained only 5 small slices ( waiting on average 6-7 oz) . To tell you the true we left hungry . The portions are so small you can hardly find enough food there. The waiter was more exited to serve 6 people’s table and eager to pour them wine . Our Water glasses were never refilled . Well , it’s very sad to realise but they prefer large parties like 6-8 people to 2 people table ( they will get better tips of course) . Would not call it attentive service, would not call it a great food , wouldn’t recommend it to anyone . The restaurant became a money drilling machine. What else? We left $210 for 2 people on Wednesday evening and left kind of hungry.

Went here for my birthday dinner while visiting San Francisco. It did not disappoint. The food was excellent as was the service. Definitely worthy of a special occasion dinner.

Came here for an event and we had a specialized menu. I ordered the pork chop which was alright. It was nothing amazing although I did really enjoy the veggies that came with it. There was an appetizer with salmon which was really good. I recommend ordering that. Venue was cool with the screen outside.

A wonderful menu with twists on usual combinations. Beautiful presentation combined with exquisite flavors.
