This was our second time to eat at this highly acclaimed restaurant. Wonderful chowder, fried crab cakes and oysters. We will definitely return here on future trips to SF.

I’m so fortunate to live within walking distance of this neighborhood gem! There’s almost always a line out the door, it it’s certainly worthwhile if you have some time. You can always browse around Castro shops or have a drink at a nearby resto or bar first. As for the food, there are always delicious Daily Specials, but the highlights include ciopinno, clam chowder, various oysters and fish. Tip: come early or around 9pm and you can snag a table or at least a seat at the bar!

I love this place! The food is always delicious, especially the clam chowder and the lemonade. Very limited menu, small place and often a long wait, but worth it.

We had a dozen oysters and Dungeness crab and it was all delicious. This is old school, hole in the wall dining that seats about 30 people tops, so be prepared to wait in line. Would highly recommend!

We ended up in this restaurant due to a recommendation from a local.. Very lucky! Waited for about 30mins, but used that time wisely by having a glass of wine meanwhile across the street. The place is small and packed, people REALLY want to get in and the food is simple yet delicious - this creates a special atmosphere which is impossible to replicate. The owner Roseann is clearly doing it right!

We had clam chowder, cioppino and mussles. All dishes were very good and fresh. I would have liked the cioppino sauce to be cooked for a longer period to maximize flavor, although it was definitely tasty and worth the cost.

A recommended place to experience while in SF!
