Start with the wings: served crisp, salty and surrounded by jalapeños, Yum. Portions are large. We over ordered with a dish for everyone. The Kung Pao chicken only okay, but the eggplant is cooked just right: not too soft and not too hard. The sweet and sour pork was very good. Service excellent and friendly, What recommended it to us was the counter where several Chinese people came and ordered the meal of the day. That says a lot. You can get a beer. Take cash.

Wandered around Chinatown trying to decide where to go when we stumbled across this place. Had the Mongolian beef which was vet good and a big plate of their 'world famous' wings. Well priced. Would recommend.

I'm quite a fan of Asiatic food. This restaurant is really good! First key criteria, only Asian client in. service is nice and fast enough. Prices are correct. Be aware they don't take credit card: only cash ...

The Capital Restaurant is about three blocks from the Hilton in the Financial District and serves Chinese cuisine. The waitress was very friendly, and the food was good. I had the Kung Po Shrimp and my wife had the Shrimp and Broccoli. We ordered egg rolls, but the veggies inside were mushy.

We were there at about 5pm and it was pretty full. Mostly Chinese people what gives you the feeling to be at the right place. We didn't feel to welcome at this place. The prices were as high as Chinese restaurants are. Plastic glasses and dishes-also normal.
I took a dinner menu and at the end they forgot the tea it should have had. The biscuit that was said to be part of was also nothing special. It was what everyone got.
The taste of the food wasn't to well. I traveled all Asia by backpack and ate in the easiest restaurants in the countries where the "natives" eat. It wasn't like that. If you want you can go there it is ok but nothing special. You'll get that everywhere in Chinatown.
