My review of this hotel is very negative the location is the only positive. We were given the option of the seventh floor or the fifth floor. Seventh floor room was slightly bigger and we chose it. That was the only positive, the furniture is broke down the chairs don’t work,
the bed and pillows are awful.
The toiletries they provide are in the form of pumps . I requested Kleenex and they said they don’t have that, really?! The paint on the walls is peeling, I guess it’s the plaster that’s peeling. The bathroom has recently been updated, but there is ugly light fixture in there with just some old lightbulb sticking out.
We were ripped off on a order of coffee at the jack in the box just 2 doors down. There are crazy bums around, the police I have to say were diligent in moving these people.
Over all so very disappointed in this experience.

allocated this hotel by Kuoni, this hotel is shocking, poor room, no air com, hotel is noisy, stuffy, stale smelling, offers no amenities, low end budget hotel, do not stay here, nowhere to hang clothes, television is hidden in wardrobe, impossible to view television, furniture is very dated and very well worn, obviously not decorated for decades

Stayed late September. Really central hotel, but I'd suggest staying a few blocks further out to get something better. No air con and the fan in the room didn't work, which meant we slept with the window open and woke several times a night due to the noise outside. It's beside a 24 hour Jack in the Box, so gets various characters. Beds were old and very uncomfortable.

Really old hotel which badly needs a revamp!! Staff were friendly and the wifi was good.

Basic, old hotel. No air conditioning and very, very noisy during the night with the window open which was necessary due to the heat. Could do with some serious updating. Avoid hotel transfer on offer. Staff were friendly though. Can't recommend.

This hotel was ok, stayed for two nights while travelling the west coast with my 6yo and my husband. The hotel was in an ok location.. we walked from here to Lombard Street.. unbeknown how steep the hills were to walk.. so never again lol! But still a great way to see the streets!
We stayed in a 2 bed room, it was on the small side and very dated in the way of decor and facilities but we werent too fussed as it was only used to sleep and freshen up in! Beds were comfy but the windows could do with updating as it was very noisy as the windows were so thin! We still managed to sleep as we were tired from sightseeing all day but dont expect peace and quiet of a night/early morning!
Room was clean and towels were provided! Our ironing board was broken, but iron was ok.
Hairdryer was provided too!
The hotel staff were friendly and i would recommend this hotel to others for a flyby visit to San Fran. If its luxury you're after then skip this one. It worked for us so would stay here again! :)
