This is definitely not one of those pricey upscale desert courses. It is a wonderful municipal course with some great views. I took my son (12) to play here in mid-February to enjoy a nice round of golf in warmer temperatures. We had a shotgun start at 11:00am and it was near 60 degrees. Not every hole has amazing views, but a few are outstanding. The course isn't overly challenging, but if you have a tendency to miss the fairway, plan on losing a few balls. It is a nice course for walking as well.
This course does have a nice driving range and an excellent staff. They were very accommodating. We had lunch at the turn and while it was nothing spectacular, it was pretty good.
If you are planning on being here mid-June through August, plan on an early tee time. It gets very hot in the Summer.
