The Biltmore Estate has really upgraded their dining options over the past ten years or so. This is another relatively recent addition that is a nice departure from their previous chicken-and-prime-rib-and-that's-about-it options.

Very comfortable atmosphere--you don't have to dress up--and a handful of outside tables that are great on a nice day. Inside tables have views of several TVs with whatever games are being played that day. Service was solid and Meg was extremely friendly. Prices are Biltmore's usual, which is to say they are a little on the high side.

Food was very good, especially the bison burger. Would heavily recommend that choice even over the regular tavern cheeseburger.

Thank Adam L

Our recent trip to Asheville included a stop to the world famous Biltmore Estate. A quick and affordable lunch was in order before the visit and Cedric's Tavern was the place to try. The place is small but has plenty of seating and a fantastic bar area with a variety of local brews on tap. The pimento beer cheese with homemade pretzel chips was AMAZING and highly recommended.

We were guests and just followed our host's suggestions. A lovely setting at the Biltmore
area. No need to dress up at this place . Informal relaxed atmosphere but noisy. A unique menu with variety. Fish and Chips excellent. Lobster roll described as delicious. Service was outstanding. Ok for children. Next to the Wine Cellar and across from the Ice Cream shop. You won't be sorry. A bit pricey but seemed to get your monies worth.

Reserved dinner here to conclude our day at Biltmore. At first the service was extremely attentive, then inexplicably got very slow, and the restaurant wasn't that busy. The ham and cheese fondue appetizer was amazing, and the bison burger was really good, but everything else was just ok. Probably would choose a different restaurant next time.

Visited twice while we were staying at the Inn. Lived the GF dessert & live music!! Would highly recommend!! The service was great also! Had a slight issue getting my ice cream but they apologized & didn’t charge me for it! (It was worth the wait either way! Yummy!!)
