What a great find! Tapeo was charming and cozy on a cold night in Boston. The hostess seated us by the fireplace which helped us warm up nicely.

We started with a bottle of Viura from Rioja which as refreshing. Then we ordered 4 tapas between the two of us.. The Calamari was one of the best I've had. Cooked perfectly and just the right amount of spice. Then we had chicken thighs in a very tasty sauce, short ribs that were tender and juicy, and the day's special beef sqewer which was very nice.

We then shared an order of the Oceana Paella. Wow! The portion was large and cooked to perfection, just like we had in Spain. Highly recommended!

We were attending a conference at the Westin and found this restaurant on Newbury Street . It is outstanding, sat at the beatiful decorated bar. The bar tender was excellent, advised us on the menu, since this was our first time at a Tapas Restaurants. We had Plata de Queso, grilled shrimp, lobster meat ravioli, and the most delicious lamb ravioli. We spent 2 hours there. We will be back !!

The food was very nice and the wine list short but excellently selected. However, the service did seem slow to the point where we ran out of wine before we'd recieved all our food. I'd go again but maybe not a Saturday night.

We dropped in around 1:30 for a light lunch. There were only about 3 other tables occupied.

We ordered 3 tapas and a bottle of wine. They had a good selection of affordable wines from $36 up to a top end of around $70. Fried artichokes were awesome. The goat cheese in tomato sauce was also good. The culettas were a little over done. We should have asked for them rare.

By the time we finished 6 or 7 more tables of afternoon shoppers had shown up.

Service was good. Food was tasty
I would return.
