It has been over a decade since previously visiting Legal Sea Foods, and am happy to say that the experience was again enjoyable. Restaurant was generally well laid out, though slightly tight between the tables. Service was pretty good, and the food was well presented and tasty. We took in several oyster options (Wellfleet in particular) as well as a good selection of main courses - including the Seafoodd Casserole, Grilled Tuna and Shrimp Bake. The meal was accompanied by a nice Sancerre, and finished off with a shared Boston Cream Pie.

This was an awful meal. The table was sticky. The waitress spilled water on me. She was very slow to bring bread and drinks. About 20 minutes. She put our main course in to early so by the time we finished our appetizers the food was cold and vegetables were mushy. The steamers were ok. The mussels were tasteless. The halibut was mediocre and lobster was overcooked. This place is living on it’s reputation.

I ate here while recently on holiday with my boyfriend. We found the food to be absolutely delicious with big portion sizes. We shared a bowl of clam chowder to start, followed by the crab cake combo for myself and the seafood pie for my boyfriend.

The customer service was the only slight negative that we found here. The waiter had a strange manner about him, e.g. showing off while pouring the glasses of water so that it splashed all over the floor. He also proceeded to count the tip that we had left while still near our table.

We enjoyed the food so much, we decided to eat at the Legal restaurant in the airport returning home.

Legal Sea Foods is a very popular seafood chain in the greater Boston area with several restaurants, and I have been to some of them over the years. Our recent visit to the Park Plaza location did not disappoint. My wife and I had a crab cake starter which was very good. The lobster dish on the children's menu for my daughter was very good and fairly priced at 20 USD. My swordfish main was perhaps a little overcooked. We had a good bottle of Californian white...
