Good food at reasonable price. No wonder the place is crowded. They tout themselves as Japanese BBQ but they have more Korean items than Japanese. Either way everything tasted good to me. Highly recommendable.

Very good Japanese/Korean style grill restaurant with a good atmosphere and excellent service. I highly recommend the beef tongue that is nicely marinated. For drinks they also serve three kinds of Shochu, that are usually hard to get outside Japan. The barley shochu was not very exciting, probably because I ordered it on the rocks, but I very much liked the rice and sweet potato shochu.

Gyu Kaku is an excellent restaurant right off the green line of the Boston T. At each table, there is a grill where each patron simply cooks their own food that is brought to them in small dishes. It's a fun experience on a date or for families. Everything is outstanding. The cost can start to add up, since every dish is a la carte, but it's absolutely worth the price. The service is fine, nothing special, but they really don't have to do much to make sure that you enjoy yourself. Great experience.

We were 10 people set up in a table with 2 center barbecues. Their menu is quite original since they bring the meat, chicken or fish very small and thinly cut and the clients has to cook his own pieces. Everything was delicious and the service excellent.

Had a wonderful meal of BBQ meat and veggies accompanied by ice cold Kirin draught beer. Lively atmosphere, great and friendly service all done with speedy efficiency. My colleagues and I enjoyed it very much and we will be sure to be back again. Special thanks to our servers who did such a good job
