I assume you've read the title I've chosen - there is almost no reason to read any further. But please do!

This place is tucked away into a parking garage between a bowling alley and Bukowski's and if not for the sign, you would not know it is there. But walk inside and its a big open, clean, cheerful space with a large inviting bar and many tables.

At first glance, it is a little bit "commercial" as they sell their t-shirts and cookbooks, but trust me, grab a table or a spot at the bar. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the oysters they serve (which should be a given, but often isn't).

The oyster variety the offer is wonderful - usually 6-7 different types, super fresh, super chilled and always well shucked. Great beer selection. Great menu, but we've barely stepped away from the oysters (probably had 20 dozen by now, 4 dozen this visit alone), we did have the buffalo wings - I felt they there OK, nothing special (though they were grilled, a first for us.)

But, almost eclipsing the oysters (nooo!) is the GRIDDLED CORN BREAD WITH MOLASSES BUTTER which we ordered almost by accident. It is TWO fantastic slabs of light, toasty, crispy, butter, sweet and salty insanity. And only about $4.00 at the time of this review. Seriously, order TWO if you have another person with you and guard yours well. SRSLY!

We've not tried anything else on the menu, so I can't comment, but so far, they have not fallen short on what we have had or the service they have given! GO NOW!

Our family of 6 had lunch here after strolling the Newbury Street shopping district. The food took a long time, but the dishes were decent. I had the blue fish which was better than average but everything else was just okay.

Had a very good grilled lobster dinner at Summer Shack. Corn bread was dry and cold. Unfortunately, the service was less than stellar. It took forever to take our order, bring food, drinks, check, etc. Never asked if we wanted another cocktail.

Came here with 12 people during a wedding weekend. Ate at the location in Cambridge. Take Uber for easy transportation. Was told by the relative who lives in Boston that this is better than the downtown location. All the food was fantastic, especially the lobster.

The pan roasted lobster was the best lobster dish that I have ever had. Overall a great meal. Atmosphere is low key. It feels like it belongs at the beach instead of the middle of a city. Prices, however, fit in with the city! We enjoyed it enough to go back 2 nights later.
