Description: Opened June 2, 2005, at 90 North Washington Street – nestled between the North End of Boston and the soon-to-be rejuvenated Bullfinch Triangle area – nebo is an upscale pizzeria/enoteca with seating for 105. The stylish décor of all natural wood, stone, and chocolate brown ultrasuede is reminiscent of the cosmopolitan ambiance of Rome and Milan . The white marble bar, complete with plasma TV, is perfect for a post-work bite or beverage. Menu offerings at nebo include traditional Neapolitan pizza; a wide variety of antipasti and bruschette; and a selection of desserts, all made on the premises. Nebo also features a full bar and an extensive wine list, with over 150 selections available by the bottle. Unique to nebo are wines offered by the quartino – presented in individual carafes, they're just enough for those wishing to share a taste.

Had dinner here on a blistering cold Saturday night. That didn't stop patrons, so I would definitely recommend reservations for this place. Our server, Alison P, was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Nebo's interior is architecturally interesting, with curved, brick, arched ceilings and a semi-open kitchen. Patrons ran the gamut, from college students to professionals to families. The menu runs the gamut from pizzas to regular Italian entrees. My Branzino was perfectly cooked and excellently de-boned by 'Alison' at the table. My husband enjoyed his Papardelle Bologneses as well. The only drawbacks were that my son's gnocchi though tasty, were swimming in marinara and that there is no salad or side with any of the entrees. We would still recommend Nebo however. Dinner with two drinks and two desserts was $145 with tip.

You can always find the comfort food here with great home made paste. We tried out a few difference dishes and all was very good. The meat balls are a must have and all the different pasta we had were all delicious. The only slight drawback is that the place can get a bit too noisy so not a place if you want a quiet chat.

Overall not bad, good and attentive service, nice ambience (even during busy lunch), reasonable food. But nothing really exciting or memorable about the experience, just another lunch place..

This average meal was ok. The service was great. Our server was very quick and professional. The menu is very limited and offered no specials of the day. Perhaps I misunderstood what type of restaurant we were at and the intention. I have never had an Italian dinner where bread wasn't served and you get a spoon for the pasta! This place seems like a missed attempt to modernize the Italian dining experience but certain elements shouldn't be missed. The pasta was pretty good but the sauce didn't impress me. You could embarrassingly admit that Olive Garden is more authentic than this place. I don't recommend Olive Garden for authentic Italian and I wouldn't recommend Nebo for authentic Italian either.

Although I do not need, this place takes gluten allergies very seriously and has a nice selection for those folks with allergies. That was impressive and the staff was very easily accommodating to a member in our group with that restriction.

Had lunch here on last day in Boston and wish we had discovered it sooner. Our server recommended the special - squid ink tagliatelle with scallops and it was delicious. Calamari starter was also excellent. Lovely service. Will definitely return when next in Boston.
