We stopped in on a rainy morning because our favorite music store (Rebel Rebel, right next store) hadn’t opened yet. We’d seen Angelique often but hadn’t gone in. Glad we finally did. Friendly and skilled waitresses, delicious yogurt and granola, strong hot coffee, a slab of warm fresh dreamy almond brioche with a little pot of jam on the side, though I wish the butter hadn’t been hard-as-rock IPCs. Great ‘50s and ‘60s music on the system that morning, tables filled with a nice mix of tourists and locals. You won’t think you’re in Paris, but it beats any Starbucks by a mile.
