So many things jam packed into one store. Lots of displays and people demonstrating toys that you could spend all day in here. From magic tricks to customizing your own race car - wow. Dont forget the piano (as seen in Big).

Its newer opening is by the way much modest than the first I knew but but it is a nice place to find beautiful toys yet!

If you’ve been to the old FAO Schwartz in NYC before they closed down, you may be disappointed in this location. It’s definitely not as grandiose as the old one. However, it’s still a fun place to visit especially for kids. My son loved that there were demonstrations throughout the store of different toys and the staff was extremely friendly. You probably will not leave, however, before spending quite a bit of money.

You can't be a kid or a kid at heart and not have some desire to visit the world famous FAO Schwarz. The store is huge but smaller than I had envisioned it. The set up of the store is cool and fun and invites you to explore. Head up stairs to check out the big piano (I mean really if you grew up in the 80's you got to see this right?) The store had fun quirky stuff and all of the "standard" toy store fair. A must visit if traveling with kids!

It was fun to see the giant piano, and all the representatives there from the major toy brands. My 4-year-old found lots to play with. We were there during winter break though, and it was packed.
