Waited in the freezing cold for 45 minutes but was worth it once we got a seat at the bar. They did nice juices, good coffee and a very tasty Croque Monsieur.

Parisian style bistro in the west village. Home style cooking. Local ingredients with well executed dishes. Cozy atmosphere with a homely twist. Good service and friendly staff. Small menu with good choices. Eggs particularly good.

If you are visiting New York City for any amount of time, you should definitely eat in Buvette. This is not just any French restaurant. It is the best one. It has a small menu, which is a good thing. The starters are the best thing, and there is usually a great rillette on it. The menu changes a lot, though. All of the food is great, so when you go there, order whatever you want.

Parisian bistro ambience with beautiful bistro-style menu - hearty salads, cheese and antipasto plates, range of egg and cheese dishes. Loved the chicken and green bean salad and the croque Monsieur was outstanding. Highly recommended.

We previously visited The Buvette in Paris and were fans so thought while in NYC it was a no brainer.

We queued for a short period before being seated. We were shocked how much the food costed in NYC vs Paris for the very same things.

In the end 2 waffle sandwiches. 2 lattes and 2 orange juices costed 70usd in tip. That is just too expensive. Rip off even if the food is very good.
