For $135 on Priceline, we had an outstanding stay over a Saturday night. No noise, either internal or external, in our 18th floor room (perhaps because there is no construction on Saturday night or Sunday morning), one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've had in years, and a clean and functional bathroom added up to a perfect stay for us.

Great hotel, good location, well appointed rooms BUT, service is a problem. When we arrived at 4:00 PM there were dirty dishes from breakfast on the floor outside our door (and were still there at 7:00 PM when we went out for dinner). Then at 10:00 PM I realized that I had forgotten a prescription medicine and called the front desk to find a pharmacy and were told that there were none in Manhattan that were open this late and offered me a hotel doctor for $300. ((I'm not sure how that was supposed to help if there was no pharmacy and I already had a prescription). I went on the Internet (for $14.95) and found one a short taxi ride away and all was solved.

Stayed here over thanksgiving 2008 and with the price reduction because of the WTC rebuild its perfect. An super quality hotel following its own facelift with great room size and cleanliness.

We upgraded to a high floor corner room, and although you can still slightly hear some of the construction, after a day out in NYC you should be tired enough to sleep right through. The views from high up the hotel are excellent, we could see the Statue of Liberty, over to Jersey and the Brooklyn Bridge.

We didnt eat here so cannot comment, but its close to a couple of subway stations and you can be in the heart of shopping and attractions like Times Square within 20 mins, plus the subway is a bargain. Could the PATH back to Newark airport as it departs from under the WTC opposite the hotel, saves a small fortune compared to a cab!

Went to the Hilton for a weekend get-away. Part of our plans included walking across the Brooklyn Bridge which is only a few blocks away. We walked many blocks uptown, though Tribeca and the next day, downtown through the financial district. We've lived in New York all our lives and have been to Ground Zero many times but from our room we were able to look right down onto the site. It was a spiritual and sobering experience. Hotel is across the street from St. Paul's, which is a must-see. Lots of good shopping in the neighborhood. If you can, park in a garage off-site as the hotel charges $55.00 for 24 hours and then $25. if you're one minute over!! Rip-off.

This was a first trip to New York for the 3 of us. What a fantastic time we had during the 4 days we were there.
The Millenium Hilton is a lovely bright airy, very clean and friendly hotel and an excellent base to start a sight seeing trip to the BIG APPLE. The staff are helpfull extremely friendly and funny.
The room we shared was spacious very clean and had everything we needed (including a hairdryer, an essential for 3 girls!). We had a corner room on the 42nd floor which gave us a detailed view into ground zero and across the bottom part of Manhatten Island. Within walking distance of Brooklyn Bridge, Battery Park, Little Italy , China Town and has Century 21 just next door. A lovely little deli just round the corner for a great breakfast to start the day.
Subway stations are close by for getting into the center ie, Times square/Central Park but you could walk it if you had a spare hour and a half....... and no blisters!
We got a great deal on the price too so an all round excellent hotel. I would definatley recomend this hotel to my friends.
