There are few places where I can say I like the fried calamari. Pipa is on my list.. The calamari is consistently good at each visit. We enjoy their 'tapas' very much, but I honestly go there for the calamari and the excellent sauce they shake it up with. (I think it is sweet chili pepper sauce). But trust me, I am sure you will enjoy all the tapas. The flatbreads are tasty and the figs are quite good. The atmosphere is delightful, though the tables are close. And you will love all that is hanging above your head. Pipa is one of my favorite restaurants; see you there

Been to Pipa twice during the afternoons - no lines, no crowds, no reservations.
Their pina colada is fantastic. Also love their gambas (swimming in that garlicky olive oil), calamaris (crispy but not doughy) and mushroom croquettes.

What a great place to get together for some good food and drinks. The sangria was so-so, but the Ginger Margarita was a hit, as was the Mojitos. We had tapas - and those that I can recommend include: Crispy Calamari - out of this world tasty! Baby Chorizos - unfortunately tasted like spicy hot dogs; Tortilla Espanola - tasted like ones made in Spain, which made it all the more special; Beef Meatballs - great with a nice tangy sauce. We also had the 2 different paellas - I'd recommend the seafood paella, as the one with chicken is nothing more than chicken and rice. Chandeliers galore (all for sale) and you get to walk around ABC Carpet while waiting for your food or table. Would return here.
