Description: Sergio Acappella's Northern Italian Cuisine is traditional and created to perfection. Acappella has a classic and fun atmosphere. You and your guest can enjoy signature drinks at their popular mahogany wooden bar. The elegant dining room features tablecloth settings, 16 ft. high ceilings, exposed brick wall, tapestry and their famous over sized portrait of the Duke of Urbino. This is a great place for just a night on the town or a business lunch or dinner.

Excellent food, great service, nice ambiance for business lunch or dinner. The sauteed spinach is like grandma used to make it. Kudos to all of the workers - great team. The only problem is the bathroom - downstairs - not good for elderly or disabled. Everything else is top notch. Very pricey for one person - but the plates are good for sharing.

Impeccable, Impeccable, Impeccable!

Apart from the temperature of the dining room (which, from experience, the management appears to always like to keep on the warmer side), everything aspect of this most recent visit was rewarding. The food, the service, the wine, the decor... all contributed to a simply great evening out with friends. Somewhat pricey, but worth it.

Just as good as it's big Sister in the city. Excellent food and service. Loved the atmosphere, and the food was spectacular, not to be missed if you are in this area.

This is one of the restaurant gems of lower Manhattan. Located near City Hall and the Freedom Tower, it's Italian dining at it's finest. From the cheese served when you arrive to the spicy sausage and eggplant served while you look at the menu and listen to the specials, the service is suburb. So is the food.

We went with the specials, and while this is definitely not an inexpensive place, each of the specials was amazing. The food's final preparation is often conducted at the table, or at cooking stations in the dining room. They are very accommodating, so if you prefer your food spicier or less spicy, they will make it as you like it.

Another part of the "old school" atmosphere in their beautiful dining room is that they make you feel like a valued friend, even if it's your first visit.

We'll be back for other special occasions, and if you find yourself in lower Manhattan and are looking for a special place to dine, this is it.

After 7PM, we had no problem finding legal and free on-street parking across the street from the restaurant. During the day, street parking is much less likely and you may have to plan to use one of the local garages.

Hope this review is helpful and that you have a chance to try Acappella.
