Used to come here years ago when I went to NYU. Still has the same vibe. Good coffee and pastry. Gave it a sentimental 5

I wanted to see this place for the old things about the cafe. It really is a cafe. A cafe that really does have good coffee! Can you imagine a place that serves basic coffee drinks that taste really good. Their coffee supplier is excellent. This is not the over roasted, burnt stuff of starbucks. My husband and I, both had regular coffee, like Americano, and a cannoli. All were very good. The server was nice and very competent. Overall, a great experience! We had lunch shortly before coming here, so we had dessert. But, next time, we will try the food items.

Little cafe full of character with mismatched small tables and chairs with not much room between . Had a nice panini and hot drink on a very cold day in January.

After seeing the movie "In good company", I was curious to go and see this place. It is dark there, and old looking, but we enjoyed it. It is hard to find a place in New York or US in general that serves Cappuccino.
We ordered eggs benedict with salmon and carrot cake. It was delicious. Also the service was very friendly. The Cappuccino was very good too.

We spent a few hours in Cafe Reggio on a snowy, wet afternoon in New York. It's crowded with NYU students most of the time, and you can see why. It's cozy and warm, the food is pretty good, and the prices are...well they seem a bit high, but since you're in the oldest (or one of) coffee house in the city it's kind of like paying to go to a museum too.

Staff are really nice despite the place always being busy. Definitely worth sneaking in here for a coffee. Small groups are way more likely to get tables than large.

Cider is great, by they way.
