Not far from Time Squure, stop here while checking Hell's Kitchen or after a bike ride or down or up the Hudson...... Fresh delicious and decadent. The honey laden baklava is amazing. Come armed with your knowledge of baseball. These guys are die-hard Yankee fans but served up amazing treats to this Dodger girl. Nice dark coffee available to accompany the snacks. Fourth generation bakery. Be sure to stop in for a treat! Come armed with handiwipes to clean up with or select the rolled baklava. Absolutely, to die for! Been to Greece and this was better!

OMG! The baklava and a similar pastry (I can't remember the name, but it was made was almond paste and marzipan) were to die for. I will definitely go here again when visiting NYC!

What an amazing bakery!! The cherry strudel is to die for! The only problem with this place is the weight you'll put on because you won't be able to stop eating.

It's also rare to find a family business doing well in midtown Manhattan but this place in an institution. The owners are very friendly and always happy to have a chat.

Don't miss this place!

This is our 3rd year in a row that we have shopped at this absolutely wonderful Greek Bakery. This year we stopped by twice and got enough for the trip home the next day. This years visit consisted of Afali, Cherry Strudel, Apple Strudel, a Kreatopita, a Tiropita, and Baklava. Every thing we ate, and we ate it all, was outstanding. We actually made a lunch one of the visits by sharing a Kreatopita and a Tiropita. They had been baking in the oven and were perfectly hot. The Kreatopita was homemade phyllo stuffed with ground beef, leeks, onions and dill. So tasty! The Tiropita was the same homemade phyllo stuffed with ricotta, feta, cream cheese, and a bit of mint. Oh, my this was wonderful. We have had the strudels before and they did not disappoint. Your added treat was the Afali which was phyllo with hone and stuffed with pistachios. It was great and it lasted a couple of the days in the hotel room with no need for refrigeration. Lili the owner was a gracious as anyone. She explained some of the food processes and even informed us that they are the only bakery left in NYC that makes their homemade phyllo. The little bakery can sit at a counter about 7or 8 people. I would not just recommend this place I would say "go out of your way to get to this place."

We stopped in on whim and now, it will be a destination. Fantastic people and awesome baked goods. We were pressed for time and wanted to grab something to snack on - this was the perfect stop! The spinach pie was chock full of flavor and the variety of baked goodies we had were fantastic. Very friendly people. I'm definitely coming back!
