Overall a very good experience with only a few things that were not up to par...
1) Location, location, location - in Soho, a short walk to TriBeCa and the rest of downtown NY. If you need to go to mid-town a lot not the best place to stay but otherwise a great location
2). Room size - I was in one of the smaller rooms and I had no complaints on size. I have seen other reviews that complain about room size. For NY and for the price the SoHo Grand has great rooms
3). Overall a good place. Nice bars and restaurants. Lobby is relaxed. A comfortable place to stay
1). The Nespresso Coffee Maker. The website says each room has one. Not true. Other reviewers have complained but this is still on the website. False advertising?
2). The door men are either really good or don’t do anything at all (many don’t even open the doors!). Keep the good ones and replace the rest!
One piece of advice- if the weather is good take a run around the end of Manhattan. About 10k from the hotel to the Manhattan Bridge and around to Battery Park. A good run and a great way to see NY!More
