We lucked out by finding a ready table outside at this lovely cafe, which is actually partially ensconced in a section of a church. The menu offers up healthy choices of food and drink. Each item we ordered was attractively served and delicious. Apparently this eatery was established by an Australian expat, and it has been so successful that it has several iterations in NYC and has also spread to a number of other cities. It's easy to see why. Highly recommend.

Cannot do better than quote from their website "Bluestone Lane offers a refined product proposition dedicated to producing the highest quality coffee and complementary foods, delivered in an engaging way...Bluestone Lane Coffee is influenced from the renowned coffee culture hub of Melbourne Australia, where premium coffee is a way of life."

Excellent coffee, including New York's best Aussie Iced Latte (a double shot of espresso poured over milk and ice-cream), and some great reminders of home balthazar toast with vegemite & avocado smash, bircher meusli, bacon & egg roll...

Great location next to the beautiful historic Church of the Heavenly Rest, opposite Central Park and a short walk from the Guggenheim.

Cute little cafe located in a church alcove. Not a lot of seating space inside but there are also a few tables outside. Coffee and breakfast were great! We had a brekkie board with avocado toast and granola with yogurt -- so yummy! The staff here is very friendly but a little disorganized with missed breakfast orders and coffees but corrections were made without too much of a delay. Great spot to come to in you're in the area.

Have a look at my photo attached people of the smashed Avo on toast. My daughter has this for breakfast every day in Australia, and was SO pleased to have found this franchise. The coffee is awesome too

This place was a great stop, especially if you want to fuel up for a day of museums or wandering Central Park. It's located in an old church which made for an interesting atmosphere. There's not a lot of seating; just be ready to share the booth with other diners.
