This is a great place to hang out and meet friends for a burger and some beers. It’s a classic Pub – no frills, just a nice atmosphere to relax in.

Was in town for a little Kettering Alter football action. Grabbed a few brews before the game. We did not eat, but food looked good. $2 Newcastles!! Steal of a deal!! Would have stayed all night if there wasn't a game to get to. Loved the atmosphere. Small place, but that's okay. Very cozy. Lots of knickknacks on the wall. Good sports memorabilia and photos as well. Overall, really liked the feel of the place and the crowd. No pretentiousness at all. Great place!

Interesting décor, old Neon lights, signs, various things. We split an appetizer sampler. My wife normally doesn't like fried pickles, but enjoyed these. Tasty, fair price for what we got. Nice Electronic Juke box with about any song you can think of. Outdoor seating area if you like as well.

We visited Harrigan's on a Friday during Lent for some fish. We used to be regulars, but hadn't been there in a year due to slow service and declining conditions. We ordered the Fish and Chips Friday special and a pitcher of Bell's Rye IPA; it took far too long for the pitcher to arrive, but the food arrived promptly. We immediately noticed the fish had an offensive odor and wasn't nearly as good as the Friday Fish used to be. After pouring our second glass of beer, we noticed a black piece of sludge in the bottom of the pitcher. This is a place where the servers never make eye contact, so after we flagged ours down, we asked to have the beer replaced. She said that sludge is to be expected in draft beer, that they do clean their taps and that was that......she walked away. We didn't drink another drop and after 10 more minutes, we and the table behind us had to flag down another server to get our checks. Buyer Beware: this is a hardcore, old-school, domestic beer-drinking tavern that only stays in business due to the locality of its clientele.
