We took our son and his family to the museum to enjoy a couple hours of fun. The museum has various fun activities area for kids to climb, play in water, and view animals; but I have a couple concerns. We bought a grandparent pass but despite the pass other family members were not able to receive discounted fares that are typically offered at other museums. The other big concern is the physical arrangement of the climbing area where young children can move between floors. However, if only one adult is supervising on one floor the kids can move onto other areas of the museum without the parent being able to control the movement. This seems to be a serious safety concern that should be controlled so the kids can only go up or down but not move freely to other areas without an adult. if the adult is either upstairs or downstairs. The upstairs area should be closed off so the kids have to come down not go to other upstairs sections of the museum.
