Lots of unusual dishes and small tacos so you can have several. We split a dish of Brussels Sprouts with goat cheese and almonds. Then I had a delicious beef rib taco with an oriental sauce. Hubby had pork, which he said was good. It is in a small, colorful home with outdoor seating also.It gets very busy on 1st Friday and Saturday.

The menu is very interesting with great combinations of flavors; located in the Village of the Arts neighborhood. We didn't get an opportunity to taste the Lobster Mac N Cheese because its such a huge seller and they ran out of it.

Very interesting little place, in an artistic neighborhood. A friend and I went down on a Friday night for their art walk. Stopped in Bird Rock Taco Shack for some tacos and glad we did. Absolutely delicious! Unique art work, great service! They have inside and outside seating. If you go on the art walk days/nights, be patient or go early. ...They get busy and worth it!!!

These are some crafty tacos. Very creative with the fillings, and they don't skimp. I ordered 3, when 2 probably would have sufficed. I had the pan seared mahi-mahi (best), the chicken picadillo (2nd), and the chorizo & jalapeño queso (3rd). All seemed to be made with the freshest ingredients and almost overflowed the boundaries of the tortilla. We also ordered some chips and salsa, which was fantastic with a little bit of heat, as well as some guacamole. The guac was just ok. I like a chunky guacamole, but this was a bit too chunky with the large pieces of avocado that you have to cut with your chip before you can even get it on there. Overall, very good food, cool vibe indoors and out. Finding it may be the hardest part. It is located on a neighborhood side street (Village of the Arts) where you wouldn't expect a commercial business. By the way, no sweet tea was a bummer.
