We went with a large group of people. We had a semi private room. Service was very good! Portions were extra large... so much food!

The atmosphere was modern and enticing! Lots of different beers and the server was quick to offer a suggestion.

Thanks for a great night out!!

We were here on a busy Saturday, but were still served our food quickly. The waiter was very helpful in choosing beer - including providing a sample when one of us was unsure of exactly which beer to order. We all ordered something different and everyone was very happy with their meals.

This restaurant is much larger than you think once you enter. There were a good number of patrons there on the Sunday afternoon we dined.

I had the flight of 5-ounce beers to start. You can select six, mine are listed below in order of preference:
Arctic alchemy ($3.50) was just sweet enough not bitter, overall very good
Stout ($2) was like a Guinness, very good
The Golden ($2) was smooth with a nice bitter finish, over all very good
ESB ($2) was heavier than the golden, not bitter but too sweet with fruit herbal hops. It starts sweet then goes to bitter, overall average.
Brett pale double IPA ($3) was better than ESB, not as bitter as I thought it would be, overall a tad above average.
The 20th ($3) seemed to me to be a very bad science project. ItI was too sour … horrible.

For our meal we ordered the buttermilk chicken sandwich ($15) which was very good and the regular burger. My burger was DOA being overcooked and was sent back. Rather than wait another 15 minutes I switched to something quick which was the pulled pork ($10.50). The pork was very good, but not likely smoked rather, slow cooked in a “crock-pot” device. The coleslaw was excellent ans stole the show! The fries were a hodgepodge of size and greasy.

Thank you to the manager who came by to apologize for the burger and who took off the beer cost from the bill. Our server was very gracious and attentive.

This is the place to be for beer and tasting beer.
The food is mostly fried and covered in heavy rich sauces so I wouldn't recommend it at all.
Just drink the beer and enjoy the downstairs hang out with pool tables and games.

Thank Christina S
