My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary weekend, what a mistake this was. This is supposed to be a pet friendly hotel, when we got there the "pet floor" was booked up so they put us on a non pet floor. We were barely gone an hour before the hotel called us on our cell phone and told us that someone complained about dog barking and we need to come back to the room immediately and stay with the dog. When we got back to the room our dog was not barking at all. Over the course of the next few hours while we were in our room the hotel called us 2 times and send security to our room 2 times. The security guard even asked if we actually do have a dog with us because he was outside of our room and did not hear anything. We finally left for dinner at 8:30 and when we came home 2 hours later the security guard was at our door again listening for dog barking. He AGAIN told us he had been outside of our room and did not hear anything. The hotel put us on the wrong floor because they were over booked, this is not our fault. They completely ruined our anniversary weekend with all the calls and security guard visits. They also told us we need to stay in our room with our dog, if we wanted to sit in a room and not leave we could have saved a lot of money and stayed home. They hotel sent us a survey about our visit and we detailed all of this in the survey. A manger from the hotel called us afterwards and blamed all of this on us, never apologized or took any responsibility. Save yourself a few hundred dollars and stay in a great Airbnb as there are many that are $100-200 dollars cheaper and have free parking (hotel is $50) and still a great location. In addition to the horrible experience the rooms are old and look old and not taken care of. I was expecting such a nice room for the price and it is far from that. I will NEVER stay at another Loews hotel and will let everyone know what a terrible experience we had there. They are obviously a brand that cannot be trusted because if you have any problems they will blame everything on you.
